What an amazing holiday! We were completely bowled over by Maria Alm loved the apartment and found everything to be just perfect.

We were indeed very lucky with the weather and have come back looking very tanned and healthy. The skiing was excellent – we spent the first couple of days in Maria Alm with the children’s ski school and then the rest of the week in Aberg.

Great food and really friendly people everywhere we found it difficult to leave. Coming back to work yesterday was not a lot of fun as I’m sure you can imagine.

Thanks to you both for letting us use your lovely home we could have stayed forever!

Hi Mark and Bernadette,

Even though we've been home several days now, as I sit here letting my "fingers do the talking" I can feel the JOY of our vacation at your home in Maria Alm bubbling to the surface .. to say we had a Fantastic Fun Filled Family Vacation just about sums it up!

A million million thanks for trusting us as a family to stay in your apartment , the whole week was just absolute perfection; we arrived to a heavy snow falling so that when we arrived in Maria Alm it was a fairytale beginning .. everywhere freshly white and sparkling. It totally took our breath away (ALL of us .. even those that had left a snow covered wonderland in Ohio USA !)

Maria Alm town itself is so so Austrian, pretty and charming .. and the week just got better and better and better! Honestly NONE of us had even one single disappointment or grumble. The local people were helpful kind and welcoming, the ski slopes in and around Maria Alm were perfect for all the various standards of skiers (I especially loved the fact that the slopes came right into the town .. no bussing .. and especially the slopes weren't crowded .. I haven't skied for many years now as slopes are usually just too crowded for me to enjoy .. Maria Alm I LOVED!)

Your apartment is in such a perfect position! We all LOVED the cross country skiing being just outside the entrance to your apartment .. we all ten took a sleigh ride .. then the tractor ride up to the restaurant late afternoon .. a warm drink then tobogganed down the floodlit run .. taking the chondalar up the mountain and a magical walk high in the mountains .. enjoyed Apres Ski drinks at the bar most late afternoons and also the Austrian evening at the bar .. then evenings sitting playing family games with lots of laughter and the warmth of our family just spending time together!

Just hope you can tell a little just HOW MUCH WE ALL ENJOYED IT! Absolutely the best possible family vacation we could ever have imagined!

Our thanks too for enabling us to create wonderful family memories .. what a fabulous 50th celebration for our son Tracy! Hopefully we'll meet up in about 10 days time .. till then .. feel a huge hug of thanks .. John and Hilary
